Dr Surbhi Jeah Bhalla

Dr Jeah (Surbhi) Bhalla completed her medical training in 2004 at the Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, Nashik, India. Since then, she has worked as a general practitioner and in women’s health initially in India and now for many years in Australia.
Dr Jeah passed her Part 1 and 2 Australian Medical Council exams in 2007 and 2012 respectively. In 2013, she successfully obtained her Diploma in Child Health at one of Australia’s top universities; University of Sydney.
Dr Jeah’s previous 5 years medical work in a women’s health clinic in Sydney provided her with a wealth of experience in treating menopausal symptoms associated with hormone imbalance, including hormone replacement therapy.
She has been working as a GP in Mackay since 2016. Dr Jeah enjoys all aspects of general practice, with a special interest in women’s health, including implanon insertions and removals, paediatrics, and skin cancer checks and excisions. She is an Examining Medical Officer (EMO) for Coal Mine Workers’ Health Scheme (Formerly Coal Board Medicals), and also performs other Pre-Employment Medicals.
