Guardian Medical Showgrounds is a mixed billing centre. The holders of a current Medicare Card may be entitled to a Medicare Rebate which can be claimed at the time of consultation and deposited directly into your nominated bank account using Medicare Easyclaim – no more trips to the Medicare Office!

Standard Consultations

For Consultations between Monday to Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm Bulk Billing applies for the following:

• Children 15 years of age and under
• Childhood Immunisations
• Government Concession card holders and Pension card holders
• Veterans’ Affairs

All other consultations and procedures are privately billed and payment is required at the time of service.

Procedures & Non-Standard Consultations

• All procedures will be charged privately
• Additional fees for consumables will be charged
• All consultations associated with procedures will be billed privately

WorkCover & TAC

• Consultations are privately billed and payment is required at the time of service

Prescriptions

• Prescriptions will not be issued without a consultation with your doctor

Travel Consultations

• Travel vaccination consultations will incur an out-of-pocket fee plus the cost of the vaccinations
