Our GPs are backed by on-site registered Div 1 nurses and support staff, creating a collaborative environment that benefits patients of all ages. Whether you’re managing a chronic condition, need a referral or seeking help with a health concern, we offer consistent medical care that prioritises outcomes and trust.
Our clinic also provides access to allied health services including physiotherapy, podiatry, dietetics, psychology, dentistry and a convenient pharmacy.
Guardian Medical Showgrounds is a mixed billing medical centre. Patients holding a current Medicare card may be eligible for a rebate, which can be processed at the time of your appointment using Medicare Easyclaim—direct to your nominated bank account, no need to visit a Medicare office.
Standard Consultations
Bulk billing is available Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, for the following groups:
- Children aged 15 years and under
- Childhood immunisations
- Government Concession and Pension cardholders
- Veterans’ Affairs cardholders
All other appointments and services during these times are privately billed. Payment is required on the day of your visit.
Procedures & Non-Standard Consultations
- All procedures, charged at private rates
- Additional charges for consumables
- Consultations related to procedures, billed privately

WorkCover & TAC
- All WorkCover and TAC-related consultations are privately billed, and payment is required at the time of service.
Prescriptions
- Repeat prescriptions require a consultation with your doctor. Scripts are not issued outside of scheduled appointments.
Travel Consultations
- Travel vaccination consultations include an out-of-pocket cost, plus the price of any vaccines required.
Fully accredited by AGPAL, Guardian Medical Centre, Flemington is purpose-built with 12 modern consulting rooms and a large treatment/emergency room. Located beside Coles in Showgrounds Village, the centre provides access to a full suite of services under one roof, reducing the need to travel between providers. Our team is here to support all aspects of your health journey.

Melbourne Pathology operates from our clinic with the following collection hours:
- Monday–Friday: 8:30 am–2:45 pm
- Saturday: 9:00 am–12:00 pm
Most services are bulk billed with a valid Medicare card. Some specialised tests may incur a fee.
