Standard Consultations
Bulk billing applies for consultations from Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm for:
- Children aged 15 years and under
- Government Concession and Pension Card holders
- Childhood immunisations
- Veterans’ Affairs cardholders
All other consultations and procedures are privately billed. Payment is required at the time of service.
Procedures & Non-Standard Consultations
- All procedures are privately billed
- Additional fees apply for consumables
- Consultations associated with procedures will also be billed privately
WorkCover & TAC
- Privately billed consultations, payment required at time of visit
Prescriptions
- Issued only following a consultation with your GP
Travel Consultations
- Travel vaccination consultations incur an out-of-pocket fee plus vaccine costs
Guardian Medical Box Hill is AGPAL-accredited and recently renovated to meet the needs of our growing community. The centre includes multiple consulting suites and a large, fully equipped treatment and emergency room, designed for both routine and urgent care.

PATHOLOGY COLLECTION AVAILABILITY
HOURS: Mon-Fri 8.00am – 4.00pm
Onsite pathology collection is available Monday to Friday, from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm. Most services are bulk billed for Medicare cardholders, though some specialised tests not covered by Medicare may incur an additional fee.
Psychology – Dr Michael Papasava and Vickey Annakis support individuals with challenges such as anxiety, depression, stress and life transitions.
Osteopathy – Peter Lockhart from Box Hill Osteopathy provides care for musculoskeletal concerns, injury recovery and overall physical wellbeing.
