Practice Description

Guardian Medical Sanctuary Lakes is an AGPAL fully accredited mixed billing healthcare facility which has been serving the local community since 2003.

The facility has eight consulting rooms, one large treatment / emergency room all within a modern purpose built health care facility located within the Sanctuary Lakes Shopping Centre.  Our centre offers a wide range of medical and ancillary health services, plus an onsite pathology.  It has ample parking and is in close proximity to buses.

 

Guardian Medical acquired Lakes Healthwise in October 2010.  It is now a very exciting time for the medical centre as we intend to undertake a number of initiatives towards providing a total health care facility for the whole family.

 

 

Our Team

At Guardian Medical our team exists to serve the needs of our patients and work together to create a positive and supportive environment to deliver to finest of primary healthcare.  We do this by surrounding our doctors with a team of dedicated registered Div 1 nurses and administration staff to enhance the care that the Guardian Medical team provides for each and every patient.

 

Our Fee Policy

Guardian Medical Sanctuary Lakes is a mixed billing centre.   Some consultations may be eligible for bulk billing for children under the age of 16 years and aged pensioners during normal business hours.  Please speak with our reception staff if you feel you may be eligible.  Private fees apply to all other patients and are to be paid on the day of consultation. 

 

All private fees may vary from Doctor to Doctor depending on whom you see and the holders of a current Medicare Card may be entitled to a Medicare Rebate.  

 

For certain procedures and tests that are not Medicare rebateable, the fee for these will be discussed with you during consultation.  For clarification on fees and charges please speak to any of our Administration staff.
